Colonial splendor – The Peninsula Hotel in Manila – Part2

The 498 rooms of the best superior rooms to presidential suite have a more modern ambience than for example the house in Bangkok or Hong Kong. There are exquisite beds. As the first hotel group, there was a central control from the bedside table for the guest electricity, air-conditioning and humidity.

Phone and hands-free system are embedded in the bathroom in the wall. For all guests there is a basket of fruit and flowers (not only for VIPs). The bathrooms are fantastic: toilet, walk-in shower – all in marble. We enjoyed a great breakfast buffet, perfect ambience and pure enjoyment.

In the restaurant there is a huge sashimi and sushi area, a barbecue station, a huge Speiseeisbar with 18 varieties, but little fruit. The Peninsula Afternoon Tea is almost as famous as the Manila Hotel. He is accompanied by waltzes. In the “Pen” there is a wide selection of dinner options: the “Spices” Indian and South Asian Küchn, in the “Old Manila” international cuisine and in the “Escolta”, buffet food is offered. Overall, a great experience, especially the terrific service.

The guest is given the highest attention. Room service, cleanliness, all at 5 – star level. In addition, a beautiful spa area to relax. A great atmosphere intoxicates the senses, a classic grand hotel with modern orientation. We slept very well and fly to Boracay tomorrow on the most beautiful island in the world. Let’s see what awaits us.
